"The Human Experience"

Film Screening Coming Sept. 15 and 16

Benedictine College Ministry is bringing a screening of The Human Experience to campus on September 15 and 16 at 7:30 PM in O'Malley McCallister Auditorium. Released in 2007,The Human Experience is a documentary about the experiences of two brothers who travel the world in search of answers to one of life’s most basic questions: the meaning of human life. In their journeys, they live with the homeless in New York, the lepers of Ghana, and the disabled children of Peru. Widely acclaimed, "The Human Experience" can boast of twenty-four honors from numerous film festivals domestic and international. In addition to the film itself, a screening brings to Benedictine College one of the two brothers for a questions and answer session following the film. This will be the first screening of the film in Kansas to date.

Ultimate Frisbee!!!!

Woohoo Ultimate Frisbee at the first "Roost Night" of the year.

Yes we played in the dark.

Yes it was crazy.

Theoretically the results were in favor of the Green team...

but the Yellow team clearly had more style!

Prayer Before Study

Prayer to St. Thomas Aquinas for students:

Wonderful theologian and Doctor of the Church, you learned more from the Crucifix than from books. Combining both sources, you left us the marvelous Summa of theology, broadcasting most glorious enlightenment to all. You always sought for true light and studied for God's honor and glory. Help us all to study our faith as well as all other subjects needed for life, without ambition and pride in imitation of you. Amen.
